Project Overview
“Asadarana Mama” is one of my most meaningful projects — a 2D animated music video highlighting the complexities and contradictions of Sri Lankan politics. Using image-based animation created in Adobe After Effects, the video followed traditional animation principles to express its message with clarity and depth. A bold red color theme defined the mood, while intricate visual detailing brought layers of symbolism to life. The concept was driven by emotion and critique, blending art with subtle political commentary.
